SMS Notification

Equipped with this feature, the specified operations will trigger email and SMS notifications to related users.

Note: The SMS notification only can be reached via SMS gateway.

1. Configure SMS Notifications

Go to "More"-"Admin"-"Message"-"SMS" to configure the parameters of SMS notification.

2. Trigger Scenarios

Go to "More"-"Admin"-"Message"-"Settings" to set the triggers for the SMS notification.

The default trigger scenarios in ZenTao are as followings:

• Bug: Email notifications are sent to "Assign to" and "Copy to" when actions are taken to Report Bug, Edit Bug, Assign, Confirm, Resolve, Activate, Close, and Import Bug.
• Story: Email notifications are sent to "Assign to" and "Copy to" when actions are taken to Create Story, Edit Story, Change, Activate, Review, Close, as well as Change plan, branch, stage, and assign.
• Task: Email notifications are sent to "Assign to" and "Copy to" when actions are taken to Create Task, Edit Task, Assign, Start, Finish, Activate, Close, Cancel, and Restart.
• Test Request: Email notifications are sent to "Owner" and "Copy to" when actions are taken to Submit Request and Edit Request.
• As for the stories linked to the project, once the stories have been changed, all of the project members will receive the email notification.
• Once the project builds have been submitted to test, the test owner will receive the email notification.
