We have described the simple ways to use ZenTao based on the point of view of DEV team and QA team. DEV team can do the basic task management in ZenTao while QA team can do the bug tracking management. If you are a product owner, you might ask whether you can use ZenTao as a story management tool. The answer is YES.
Story management is provided in ZenTao which includes creating stories, changing stories, and evaluating stories. Now let’s see how to do story management.
1. Create a product
To create stories in ZenTao, products must be created first. This is the same as in bug management mentioned in the previous chapter. Go to Product and click Create Product.
2. Create stories
Once a product is created, you can add stories. Go to Product->Story and click Create Story.
Then add details of the Story.
- When creating stories, you can choose where the story is from.
- There are 3 key elements of a story: Title, Description, and Acceptance, please write them carefully and clearly.
- You can assign the priority of stories and estimated man-hours.
- You can also choose who will review the story. If a reviewer is set, the status of the Story will be Draft. If the box “No Review Required” is checked, the status will be Active.
3. Change a story
ZenTao provides a professional process for changing stories. All the changes of Title, Description, Acceptance, and Files of Stories must be added according to the workflow below. The status of the story will be Changed after the change.
4. Review a story
4.1 Click the "+" in History to view the details before and after the change.
4.2 Click Review to review a story. Select a review result such as Pass, Revert, Clarify, and Reject.
