With ZenTao open source 8.3+, Doc has been optimized and the documentation feature has been enhanced.
1. Doc Home has been added.
On the homepage of Doc, product document library, project document library, and customized document library are listed.
In the project lib of a product doc lib, all the project libs that have been linked to the product are listed.
In product doc lib and project doc lib, a file library is added. All linked files can be seen in files lib. IDs of the linked stories will be shown right after the name of the file. Click it and you will be directed to the page of story details.
2. Dropdown Menu and Doc Lib
You can use the search box to search for documents and check documents that have been DONE in project doc lib.
You can order documents by Drag and Drop in a doc lib. However, project lib and file lib in a product doc lib cannot be ordered, neither can file lib in a project lib be ordered.
3. Access Control in Doc Lib
When you add a doc lib, you can set access control such as Pubic, Custom, or Private. If you set a whitelist, you can set group privilege and choose users who you allow to view.
Note: If a user has the privilege to view all products/projects in a doc lib, s/he can view the doc lib of the products/project.
When you create a doc lib, you can set access control.
